A clear next step.

Answers for candidates and hiring teams.

Why have I received a verification request?

An organization has asked Digiverifier to help with a background check. If you do not recognize the organization or were not expecting a request, confirm it with your recruiter before sharing information.

What should I have ready?

Keep your invitation and the details requested for your checks nearby. You may need employment dates, education details or supporting documents. Follow your specific request; you do not need to gather documents for checks that were not ordered.

What happens after I give consent?

The requested checks can begin once the required information and authorization are in place. Your team may contact you if a detail needs clarification. The completed report goes through the agreed review and delivery process.

My invitation link is not working. What can I do?

Open the most recent invitation and check that the full link was copied. If it is expired or still does not open, ask your recruiter or support for help. Include the requesting company and the error message, without passwords or identity documents.

I cannot sign in or receive a verification code.

Check the email address or phone number on the request, including the country code, and look in your spam folder. Avoid repeated code requests in quick succession. If the issue continues, ask support to help check the invitation details. Never send your password or one-time code.

A document will not upload. What should I try?

Check the file type and size shown in the upload form. Use a clear, readable file with every required page included. Try again on a stable connection. If it still fails, tell support the file type and error message; ask for a secure upload route instead of attaching sensitive documents to email.

I entered a wrong date or other detail. Can I correct it?

Yes—contact the requesting organization or support as soon as you notice it. Explain which field needs correction and include your request reference if available. Ask for a secure way to provide any supporting evidence.

How long will my checks take?

Timing depends on the checks requested and the sources involved. Connected checks can complete quickly once the required information and consent are available. Ask your recruiter or support about the timing for your particular request.

How can I check progress?

Use the status link or platform access provided with your request. If you were not given access, your recruiter can help with an update. When contacting support, include the requesting company and request reference so the team can locate the case.

Why am I being asked for more information?

A record may not match the details supplied, a document may be unclear, or a source may need more information. A follow-up request does not by itself mean there is a negative result. Ask which detail is needed if the request is unclear.

I think something in my report is wrong.

Tell support which item appears inaccurate or incomplete and ask how to request a correction or review. Include your request reference and a brief description first. Support can explain the secure next step for any evidence you want to share.

Does Digiverifier make the hiring decision?

The hiring organization makes its employment decision. Digiverifier provides information from the requested checks. If you have questions about a hiring outcome, contact the organization; if a report detail looks wrong, contact support about that detail.

How can I ask about my data or stop a request?

Contact support for questions about your information, access, correction or a request you no longer wish to continue. Also let the requesting organization know. The team can explain the options that apply to your request and direct you to the regional privacy information.

What should I include when contacting support?

Share the requesting company, your request reference if available, and a short description of the problem. Do not email passwords, one-time codes, full identity numbers or sensitive documents. Ask support for a secure channel if those details are needed.
